- Went to Oregon with
gravilim, graphxgrrl, narenek, and ktbee
- Was temporarily irritated with the lack of cell signal and touchy WiFi, but got over it.
- Read Hat Full of Sky, Harry Potter and the Deathy Hallows, and The Wintersmith.
- Started reading Quantum Psychology which I will probably finish at home.
- Did some shopping.
- Took lots of pictures of signs.
- Participated in acting half my age.
- Attempted sand sledding. This apparently works much better when one is 10.
- Got sand everywhere.
- Took a walk on the beach, where I took pictures of dead things and of Ellen playing in the ocean (not dead).
- Got more sand everywhere.
- Visited a lighthouse. Fortunately, no sand involved.
- Went to the aquarium. Took pictures of not-dead things.
- Went to the Rogue Ale brewery. Did not buy beer, since I don't drink it, but got a couple of nifty souvenirs.
- Ate pizza.
- Observed craft night with Rachel and Ellen, as they decorated their tiaras. Because they are pretty pretty princesses.
- Ate ice cream.
Packed most of my things, and left room for the stuff that needs to be packed in the morning. We'll be out of here early. Ellen and Stu are being dropped off at the Eugene airport, and then Katie, Rachel, and I head home. It's been a good week. I didn't realize how much I needed the vacation until I'd been here a couple days already. There will be pictures later, after we get back to town and I have a chance to unload them onto the iMac (where the disk space lives) and delete some of the blurry and/or duplicate ones. There will also likely be some video, since there were a couple of things which came out better that way than stills did. We'll see how much post-processing I want to put into it.
